Stafford Dance Company is hiring for it's 2019-2020 season! Classes begin August 19th. We are seeking an instructor for our Preschool aged ballet/ tap combo and Funky Jazz (ages 4-7). This ten month position, which reports to the Studio Directors, is an hourly position.

  • Posses a strong awareness about the various needs and wants of parents and students
  • The ability to communicate with parents on the dancer's progress in class
  • Ability to handle various classroom situations with grace and careful consideration.
  • Fun loving and bubbly personality with a true desire to work with children

Requirements/Qualificatiions:

  • Ability to provide leadership and manage students
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Flexibility in schedule to sub for other classes when needed
  • Ability to attend quarterly staff meetings
  • Provide mid year and end of year evaluations
  • Help during picture day, dress rehearsal and recital
  • 5+ years dance experience
  • 2+ years of instructing experience
